Eight artists were commissioned by Teresa Grimes and Tintype Gallery to present work in their window on Essex Road: Suki Chan, George Eksts, Tony Grisoni, Andrew Kötting, Anna Lucas, Emily Richardson, Frances Scott, Penny Woolcock. The films were screened in Tintype's window from 17 December 2014 to 17 January 2015, every evening from 4 to 11pm.
Kotting's film Buoyed By The Irrelevance Of Their Own Insignificance pays tribute to the startling incongruity of stuffed animals glimpsed on journeys up and down the Essex Road when Andrew Kotting was younger. “Buoys of poetic improbability bobbing up and down in a sea of city-life normality”, the film is the first part of his Animal Head Trilogy.
